Carli Lloyd
Carli Lloyd plays the forward position and will be making an appearance for the U.S. Soccer World Cup Team. She is a veteran player who lives for the big moments and pressures that the game will bring. Coming towards the end of her playing career, Carli has done a fantastic job of being motivated and taking care of her body. Lloyd has played well on the big stage and you can expect much of the same going forward.
Lloyd attended Rutgers University, where she was a standout for the team. She was one time a finalist for the Hermann Trophy. Carli played in the WPS, where she played for teams like the Chicago Red Stars, Sky Blue FC, and the Western New York Flash (Now in the NWSL). She currently plays for the Sky Blue FC, where she requested to be traded to from the Houston Dash in order to be closer to her family and new husband. In 2018, she was named NWSL Second XI.
