Ali Krieger- US Soccer Team
Ali Krieger plays the position of defender and will be making an appearance for the U.S. Women’s World Cup Team. Krieger is a someone who has played all over the world and has a ton of experience of being in big moments and games. After not receiving a call-up to the National Team for two years, Ali was finally named to the 2019 World Cup Roster.
Krieger attended Penn State University from 2003 to 2006. There she was named Big Ten Freshmen of the year. After suffering a very traumatic and serious leg injury during her junior year, Krieger bounced by strong by being named Big Ten Defensive Player of the year.From there she went on to a very successful professional career and played for various teams. Teams such as the Washington Freedom, FFC Frankfurt, and Washington Spirit. Recent teams she has played for are the Washington Spirit (2014-2016) and currently now the Orlando Pride.
